Dellanee Wade is a graphic design MFA candidate at Louisiana Tech University. She earned a BA in Communication with a concentration in New Media Design from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport. Inspired by the design world, her work allows her to explore the qualities of visual material through image-making techniques with the intent to improve the communities in which we live and work.
In 2017, Dellanee’s designs were featured in North Central Louisiana Arts Council’s 2nd Annual Juried Art Show, DigiFest South Art Show & Competition, and The Untold Show: A Showcase for Black Artists. She received Silver, Gold, and the 2018 Student Best of Show ADDY Awards for a campaign focusing on building a local food network for Ruston, Louisiana entitled, (31ATE). Since 2016, she has been an active member of the American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier and serves as Programs Chair on the executive board.
